I grew up on a farm in Oregon. Being a farm boy and a rock-star-wannabe all my life, I’ve always been handy with tools and I’ve always loved music. About 10 years ago, these two loves collided in guitar making.
I am self taught in guitar making. I couldn’t have done it without world renowned luthier William Cumpiano and his superb manual of the craft. I was fortunate enough to study with William in his Massachusetts shop in the Autumn of 2006. It is an experience I shall treasure always.
Armed with Master Cumpiano’s tome and a good head of of steam, I was, over the course of several years, able to become competent in this daunting field. As William always says, however, you are NEVER too experienced to learn or be humbled and this craft has a way of humbling me on a regular basis. Many a tree has given its all for the benefit of my education.
My day job is that of a head hunter! I’m self employed, running the Pacific Northwest office of AGRI-associates. If you work or would like to work in the agricultural or food industries, visit my site at www.agripnw.com
I and my family proudly call the Pacific Northwest home. It is the best place in the world to live.
